Description
Toast is hiring a Backend Engineer for its Product-Led Growth team to build and maintain backend services for in-product growth experiences, including eligibility, targeting, offer delivery, purchase flows, activation, conversion tracking, LLM-powered experiences, experimentation instrumentation, and integrations with billing, contracting, and provisioning systems. The role owns features end-to-end, partners with product, design, marketing, sales, and data science, contributes to architecture and engineering standards, and mentors other engineers. It requires 5+ years of software engineering experience in Kotlin, Java, or another object-oriented language, along with experimentation, growth engineering, and AI platform experience. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office collaboration two days per week in the Dublin office.
