Description

PENN Entertainment is hiring a remote Software Engineer for its Promotions team to design, scale, and performance-tune GraphQL APIs, gRPC services, and SQL queries; architect and deliver features; improve production reliability and scalability; set up monitoring and alerting; and mentor engineers. The role requires at least five years of software engineering experience, strong distributed-systems and production-systems expertise, experience with GraphQL, relational databases, Kubernetes, testing, background jobs, and asynchronous event handling, and offers a base salary of $145,000–$193,000 USD.

Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of software engineering experience
