Skydio is hiring a Senior React Native Engineer to lead the development of real-time, high-impact mobile applications for first responders, drone pilots, mission commanders, and the public. The role involves architecting the cross-platform app, building video and map-based experiences, improving performance through native code, establishing shared components and testing conventions, and owning features from prototype through rollout. Candidates need at least five years of customer-facing mobile application experience, strong React Native, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL expertise, and experience with Swift or Kotlin native modules. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week at Skydio’s San Mateo, California office, with an annual base salary of $190,000 to $250,000 and eligibility for group health insurance.
