Description

Klaviyo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Reliability to build and operate secure, scalable, and reliable foundational platforms and services. The role focuses on SRE practices, observability, incident response, capacity planning, infrastructure automation, and production reliability, while collaborating with product, platform, and security teams and mentoring other engineers. The position requires cloud-native systems experience, production code in Python, Go, or similar, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and familiarity with AWS; the base salary range is €92,000–€138,000 EUR.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience building, deploying, and operating distributed cloud-native systems
Experience operating containerized workloads and Kubernetes platforms in production
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and declarative configuration
Experience with capacity planning, load testing, and performance analysis for distributed services
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting security-critical platforms or building internal security tooling
Familiarity with identity, access management, secrets management, or policy enforcement systems
Experience operating systems at scale in cloud environments, preferably AWS
Background in resilience testing, fault injection, or chaos engineering
Strong comprehension of algorithms and data structures at scale
