Riverlane is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Research) in College Park, Maryland, to help build and maintain software for quantum error correction research. The role involves developing research prototypes, implementing decoding algorithms, extending quantum simulation and QEC analysis tools, and collaborating with researchers and other teams. Candidates need proficiency in C++ and Python, collaborative programming experience, software engineering tooling experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and an interest in quantum computing; experience with software shipping, quantum computing, or GPU programming is preferred.
