The role involves building platform capabilities, validating solutions through prototypes, writing maintainable and testable code, making ownership decisions for services at scale, exploring AI-assisted engineering tools, and mentoring junior team members. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, around six or more years of commercial software development experience, experience with Java and Spring Web Services APIs, and experience delivering solutions on GCP or AWS.
