Qualcomm is hiring a RISC-V Instruction Set Simulator Engineer to implement and maintain a production-grade C++ RISC-V ISA simulator used for processor verification, co-simulation, random testing, and pre-silicon firmware development. The role covers ISA translation, fetch/decode/execute and memory-privilege logic, RTL co-simulation, unit testing, and simulator tooling. Candidates need strong C++, processor architecture knowledge, attention to correctness, and relevant hardware, software, or systems engineering experience; RISC-V, simulator, GDB, ELF, Linux, and Python experience are preferred. The position offers a base pay range of $175,600 to $263,400 plus bonus and RSU opportunities.
