Description
Rippling is hiring a Backend Engineer to work on its Platform team, developing distributed processing engines, databases, data platforms, data lakes, ingestion systems, and custom programming languages. The role uses Python, MongoDB, CDC, Kafka, and big-data technologies such as Aurora, Trino, Presto, Pinot, Iceberg, and Flink, and requires 5+ years of backend engineering experience, testable and performant code, experience in a fast-paced environment, and mentoring experience. The role is based in San Francisco and requires office-based employees to work in the office at least three days per week.
