Kraken is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Consumer team to own the architecture and delivery of customer-facing Rust backend services for trading, payments, and cryptocurrency experiences. The role includes end-to-end feature ownership, cross-team technical alignment, product-roadmap influence, mentoring, design review, and extensive use of AI-assisted engineering. Candidates need at least six years of backend engineering experience, deep Rust proficiency, distributed-systems expertise, a product-engineering mindset, and experience driving work across teams.
