Toast is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and operate backend systems for its Scheduling product within the Team Management Suite. The role owns systems from design through deployment, partners with product and design, contributes to code quality and technical standards, and mentors other engineers. Candidates need at least five years of backend experience with an object-oriented language, production-system experience, and a track record of scalable solutions. The role is remote and offers a base salary of $125,000–$175,000 CAD, with additional cash compensation, equity, and benefits.
