Bloomberg is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Sell-Side Data Acquisition Team in Pune. The role owns the full software development lifecycle for ingesting and normalizing market and reference data, deploying updates, and maintaining high-throughput, low-latency systems used by sell-side execution workflows. Responsibilities include leading complex projects across Pune, London, and New York, mentoring team members, collaborating with client and professional services teams, and making technical decisions on correctness, stability, and reliability. The position requires 7+ years of experience in a general-purpose object-oriented programming language, preferably C++, along with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and concurrent programming; a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent education, training, or professional experience is required.
