Google is hiring a Cloud Software Engineer to build and maintain the core execution sandboxes and I/O interfaces for Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and App Engine. The role focuses on large-scale, GPU-enabled container serving, systems programming in C++ and Go, virtual machine interfaces, performance optimization, reliability, debugging, and platform modernization. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, substantial software development and infrastructure experience, and experience with low-level systems programming on Linux or Unix-like operating systems.
