Apex.AI is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain core software platform technologies for autonomous systems, intelligent machines, and software-defined vehicles. The role focuses on high-performance middleware, runtime systems, developer tooling, and infrastructure for safety-critical and real-time environments, including work on Apex.Grace and Apex.Ida. Responsibilities include designing software components, improving platform performance and reliability, debugging distributed systems, developing automated tests and CI workflows, and collaborating with product and application teams. The position is based in the Munich office and requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, strong C++ and Python skills, Linux experience, and familiarity with middleware or distributed systems technologies.
