Roku is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Staff scope) for its Demand Bidder team to design, build, operate, and evolve a large-scale, real-time distributed decisioning system used for advertising auctions. The role owns subsystems end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, on-call, and long-term evolution; requires strong Java, distributed systems, concurrency, performance optimization, cloud, and data-systems expertise; and involves mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, business, and applied-science teams.
