Description
Lambda is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Infrastructure Storage Team to develop and maintain storage software for next-generation on-premise AI storage solutions. The role focuses on distributed systems, file, block, and object storage protocols, scalable and resilient storage services, production data center troubleshooting, and integration with hardware and virtualization solutions. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, at least five years of storage-system software development experience, strong distributed-systems and systems-programming skills, and familiarity with Linux, containerization, CI/CD, and QA practices. The position requires presence in the San Francisco, San Jose, or Bellevue office four days per week, with Tuesday as the designated work-from-home day.
