Description
Lambda is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Infrastructure Storage Team to build a vendor-agnostic, scalable, resilient storage control plane for AI training and inference. The role covers storage provisioning, scaling, healing, metering, reconciliation, Kubernetes-based orchestration, multi-tenant isolation, capacity and placement, observability, and performance instrumentation across storage platforms and data centers. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, at least five years of storage-system software development experience, distributed-systems expertise, and strong programming skills in C, C++, Go, or Python, along with Linux, storage protocols, and containerization experience.
