Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to improve the efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of large-scale telemetry and data-processing systems across Azure Storage, Cosmos, and Blueshift. The role involves designing services and automation, reducing infrastructure costs, building recommendation and analytics solutions, applying AI and automation to operational workflows, partnering with Microsoft 365 and Copilot teams, and providing technical leadership. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience is accepted.
