Together AI is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build and improve the distributed backend services powering its AI cloud platform. The role focuses on distributed GPU scheduling, global compute, networking, and storage management, customer-facing cloud services, scalable APIs, databases, infrastructure as code, testing, and on-call incident response. Candidates need at least five years of experience with large-scale distributed systems and microservices, strong systems knowledge, cloud and Kubernetes experience, and a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent practical experience. The position offers a US base salary of $160,000 to $230,000 plus equity and benefits, with flexibility for remote work.
