Visionist is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Tools and Applications for its largest PRIME contract. The role develops and maintains AI tools and applications, modifies open-source software, supports production infrastructure, leads technical initiatives, coordinates cross-functional work, and coaches junior developers. It requires a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 12 years of software development experience, Python expertise, LLM workflow experience, Kubernetes/Helm, Docker, SRE, cloud, and CI/CD knowledge, along with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and polygraph. The position is based in Columbia, Maryland and offers a salary range of $170,000 to $240,000.
