Description
Snowflake is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Trust Center team to build and improve Data Exfiltration Protection and unified Data Movement Policy capabilities for cloud security infrastructure. The role involves designing distributed security-policy systems, implementing ingress and egress controls and anomaly detection, unifying context-aware access with perimeter controls, authoring design documents, partnering with Product Management, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have at least five years of software engineering experience, exposure to infrastructure or security systems, knowledge of network security and Zero Trust or data loss prevention concepts, distributed-systems experience in Java, Go, or C++, and experience with cloud-native security controls. The estimated base salary is $200,000 to $287,500, with bonus and equity eligibility and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
