Roku is hiring a Senior Software Engineer on its UI team to design, implement, and optimize performance-critical UI frameworks, rendering pipelines, layout engines, animation systems, and developer-facing tools. The role leads technical investigations, integrates AI/ML and generative AI into workflows, establishes verification practices, and mentors junior engineers. It requires 6+ years of software engineering experience, strong C++ and TypeScript proficiency, scripting and Python experience, agentic engineering fluency, and a solid understanding of graphics and UI performance. The role generally follows an office Monday-through-Thursday hybrid schedule.
