Description
Roku is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop core features for the Roku platform UI and underlying embedded architecture. The role involves collaborating with product, platform services, and release management teams; integrating third-party C++ libraries; and diagnosing and resolving platform issues. Candidates should have embedded software experience, extensive C++ and Embedded Linux or native application development experience, Linux and open-source knowledge, AI-assisted programming skills, and experience with memory management, multithreading, OpenGL, DirectFB, and media or video technologies. The role follows a hybrid schedule with office attendance Monday through Thursday and flexible Fridays.
