Intuitive Surgical is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Interaction Software Engineering team to design and develop user interfaces and infrastructure for the da Vinci Surgical System. The role involves translating requirements into software architecture, building modular and scalable UI software, refactoring codebases, supporting video and display rendering, and contributing to failure-mode analysis. Candidates need at least 8 years of relevant industry experience, a bachelor’s degree, C/C++ mastery, Linux software development experience, and experience with interactive UI, display pipelines, or video/image processing systems.
