Citi is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Ultra Low Latency Risk Engine Lead Developer to design, develop, and lead the delivery of a next-generation low-latency risk engine for cash equities electronic execution. The role owns pre-trade and real-time risk controls, high-performance multi-threaded components, messaging and IPC architectures, JVM and native performance tuning, distributed testing, production support, and architectural leadership across global engineering teams. It requires extensive experience with low-latency trading systems, Java and/or C++/Rust, concurrency, risk management, and ultra-low-latency systems, and offers a hybrid model with up to two days working from home per week.
