Description
WorkHero is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to own its real-time voice stack and call-data platform end to end. The role combines AI agent workflows, telephony and WebRTC integration, streaming speech-to-text and text-to-speech, call-data pipelines, analytics dashboards, evaluation and monitoring, and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing, building, testing, deploying, operating, and optimizing production systems, responding to critical issues, mentoring team members, and collaborating with product and subject-matter experts. The role is remote with a minimum four-hour overlap with the WorkHero team from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
