Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of core Windows Print and Scan platform components. The role owns platform architecture, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability; drives AI-assisted engineering practices; sets technical direction across Windows OS internals, cloud-connected services, and industry standards; and partners with internal teams and external hardware and software vendors. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, and production-quality C or C++ experience, along with experience in Windows OS platform components, distributed systems, security hardening, and mentoring.
