Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to cloud device platform scenarios for Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. The role owns end-to-end engineering for provisioning, managing, and monitoring millions of cloud-based virtual devices; builds secure, distributed, scalable microservices; mentors software engineers; and collaborates with internal partner teams. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include extensive software engineering experience, large-scale system design, AI-assisted engineering, virtualization and hypervisor expertise, and strong communication and mentoring skills.
