Description
Vectra is hiring a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead one or more platform engineering teams responsible for foundational software, infrastructure, deployment systems, operational tooling, service reliability, and developer experience. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, delivery management, operational excellence, cross-functional execution, hiring, and platform strategy across areas such as appliance software, AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, containerization, and secure deployment. Candidates need at least five years of engineering management or technical leadership experience, production platform ownership, strong Linux/Unix skills, modern software engineering and Agile delivery experience, and strong communication and mentoring abilities. Compensation is $185,000–$275,000 USD annually, with benefits commonly including health care insurance, life and income protection, retirement savings, wellness services, paid time away, and equity participation.
