NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Software Performance Engineer for autonomous vehicles to develop, maintain, and optimize the latency and throughput of L2/L3/L4 autonomous driving solutions. The role focuses on improving software architecture and efficiency across multi-computer and heterogeneous hardware, writing efficient C++ code using CUDA and ARM NEON, and collaborating with hardware, product, operating-system, and safety teams. Candidates need a relevant MS or PhD or equivalent experience, at least 12 years of autonomous-vehicle software experience, strong C and C++ skills, parallel-architecture expertise, and performance-analysis experience. The base salary is 224,000–356,500 USD for Level 5 and 272,000–431,250 USD for Level 6, with equity and benefits; applications were accepted until September 2, 2026.
