Description
CSS is hiring a full-time Senior Solar Technician to lead field service for utility-scale solar facilities. The role troubleshoots and repairs solar generators, leads commissioning, quality assurance, and preventative maintenance, provides on-the-job training, performs vegetative maintenance, and represents CSS in the field. The position requires approximately 90% field work, weekend and holiday on-call availability, occasional overtime, and overnight travel, with compensation of $36–$43 per hour. Candidates need a valid driver’s license, 3 years of utility solar PV field experience or 6 years of related experience, and knowledge of electrical theory, photovoltaic power generation, and electrical and mechanical trade work.
