Boeing Vancouver is hiring a Senior Solution Architect in Richmond, British Columbia, to lead technology roadmaps, modernize legacy applications, design cloud-native microservices and APIs, integrate AI and ML capabilities, establish architectural standards, and mentor a small developer team. The role requires extensive software architecture, cloud, distributed systems, legacy modernization, and AI experience, is hybrid, and offers a CAD 124,000–222,000 annual salary range. Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of software development design, methodology, and lifecycle experience
5+ years of legacy technology modernization and refactoring experience
5+ years of distributed, cloud-native, API, and microservices architecture experience
5+ years of microservice, containerized, or serverless application development and operations
Experience with application performance management, diagnostics, and issue resolution
Experience with development frameworks, cloud-native technologies, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
Experience delivering high-availability and resilient solutions meeting regulatory and security standards
Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools and AI concepts, algorithms, and applications
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher
Knowledge of Cloud Well-Architected principles
Experience with big data solutions, Medallion architecture, and distributed data mesh
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Experience enabling organization-centric solutions focused on business outcomes
Ability to inspire and lead
Experience researching, advising, comparing, and recommending technology solutions
Systems thinking and ability to understand system interrelationships
Experience with airplane health and maintenance domains
