Description

Microsoft Federal is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership for secure, scalable, mission-aligned cloud solutions in classified and unclassified environments. The role focuses on multi-hybrid cloud architecture, DevSecOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, secure networking, automation, deployment governance, testing, ATO and split-access documentation, and support for federal government customers. Candidates must have a relevant master's or bachelor's degree and the specified years of experience, an active U.S. Government TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance, U.S. citizenship verification, and successful Microsoft Cloud background checks.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or a technology domain such as Security
6+ years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or a technology domain such as Security
Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of technical sales experience
4+ years of project management experience
Technical or professional certification in a domain such as Security
10+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture, or systems engineering
Experience designing and operating multi-hybrid environments across cloud and on-premises platforms
Strong DevSecOps background including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated security controls
Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and containerized workloads
Expertise in Azure networking, including virtual networks, peering, NSGs, private connectivity, and hybrid networking
Experience supporting federal security requirements, including ATO processes and artifact development
Ability to produce architecture artifacts suitable for Authorizing Official and executive review
Strong communication and collaboration skills across government, contractor, and engineering teams
