Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Senior Spacecraft Operations Engineer based at its Auckland Production Complex. The role owns spacecraft operations across LEO constellations and deep-space missions, including automated command and operation, ground and flight software development and testing, operational scripting, telemetry and FDIR configuration, simulation-based validation, and support through integration, testing, launch, and on-orbit life. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, at least four years of experience in space mission design, satellite subsystems, ground systems, or spacecraft operations, familiarity with Linux and software development, and strong knowledge of spacecraft systems and orbital mechanics.
