Description
BNY is hiring a Senior Specialist, Infrastructure Engineer to install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and support DB2 and related mainframe and middleware software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment. The role includes disaster recovery, proof-of-concept work, vendor coordination, incident and ticket management, performance tuning, and 24/7 coverage, including weekends. Candidates need strong z/OS and SMPE experience, senior DB2 and DB2 Data Sharing knowledge, REXX programming, and at least five years of equivalent work experience or a bachelor's degree in computer science; experience in securities or financial services is a plus. The base salary is $72,000 to $110,000 per year.
