L3Harris is hiring a Senior Specialist, Software Engineer (Embedded) for an onsite role in Richardson, Texas. The position supports and helps lead embedded software development for hardware, including software design, hardware-software integration, test automation, defect repair, and technical documentation. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with six years of engineering experience, or a graduate degree with four years of related experience, or ten years of engineering-related experience in lieu of a degree, along with at least five years of computer or software engineering experience and five years of professional C++ development. An active US Secret Clearance is required, while experience with real-time embedded software, Greenhills RTOS, device drivers, modern C++, Agile Scrum/Kanban, and Linux is preferred.
