L3Harris is hiring a Senior Specialist, System Safety Engineer in Palm Bay, Florida, on a 9/80 schedule. The role provides technical leadership for safety analyses across airborne solutions programs, including cockpit displays, mission processors, and sensors. Responsibilities include hazard and causal analysis, risk assessment, safety program planning, safety cases, customer design reviews, interface evaluation, safety documentation in DOORS or Cameo, and coordination with government customers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with four years of related experience, or ten years of experience in lieu of a degree, and the ability to obtain a United States government clearance.
