Description

Banyan Software is hiring a Senior SRE to own the operational excellence of modernized SaaS applications delivered by its AI Factory. The role operates distributed containerized applications across AWS and Azure, with 24x7 rotating on-call coverage, and covers cloud integrations, observability, disaster recovery, security incident response, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and AI-assisted SRE automation. Candidates need 5–7 years of progressive software or SRE experience, strong Python, JavaScript, or Go skills, container and Terraform expertise, production cloud experience, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Required Previous Experiences: 5–7 years of progressive experience in software engineering or site reliability engineering operating distributed systems
Deep expertise in Python, JavaScript, or Go for automation and integrations
Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for scalable distributed systems
Experience working with Terraform modules at scale
Hands-on experience operating production workloads on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms and DevSecOps workflows
Experience with application logging, troubleshooting, tracing, and highly available production systems
Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools
Familiarity with APM tooling and practices
Experience with on-call rotations, production and security incidents, and disaster recovery
Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, and Checkov
