Global Technology Services is hiring a remote Senior SRE Engineer in Latin America to support mission-critical Oracle Transportation Management applications. The role combines deep Oracle OTM expertise with SRE, cloud, automation, observability, and production operations work, including incident response, troubleshooting, performance tuning, reliability engineering, and operational automation. Candidates need at least 10 years of IT/SRE experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Oracle OTM experience across on-premises and SaaS/cloud environments, along with relevant cloud, scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and enterprise-integration experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of overall IT/SRE experience
5+ years of hands-on Oracle Transportation Management experience
Experience supporting Oracle OTM in on-premises and SaaS/cloud environments
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and/or Oracle OTM SaaS
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
Scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, or Shell
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or comparable IaC tools
Experience with production incident, problem, and change management
Experience with Oracle OTM SaaS migrations, upgrades, releases, patching, and environment transitions
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting large-scale Oracle OTM implementations and mission-critical transportation or logistics platforms
Experience with GCP and cloud-native technologies
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments
Experience supporting Java and .NET enterprise applications
Experience with Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise integrations, databases, and distributed systems
Experience building automated health checks, dashboards, alerting, and self-healing capabilities
Understanding of performance engineering, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
Success identifying recurring operational problems and driving automation or remediation
Experience working with complex enterprise integration ecosystems
Attention to detail and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders
