Description
Emergence is hiring a Senior Staff Accountant to work remotely from India on a full-time basis. The role leads month-end close activities for SaaS businesses, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, accruals, balance-sheet variances, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation under U.S. GAAP. The accountant will also mentor junior accountants, improve accounting processes, and document ROI for improvements. Required qualifications include advanced U.S. GAAP knowledge, SaaS revenue recognition experience, month-end close leadership, Excel and ERP proficiency, variance analysis, and mentoring experience; CA or CMA qualifications are preferred.
