Description

ServiceNow is hiring a senior-staff-level whole-stack AI engineer to lead the architecture and production delivery of agentic and LLM-powered systems for its CPQ platform. The role focuses on multi-agent orchestration, a custom asynchronous agent execution Harness, MCP and A2A interoperability, RAG/context engineering, production Python services, and customer-embedded forward deployed engineering, while also requiring fluency across Java/Spring Boot, React/TypeScript/Lit, and classical ML systems.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 8 years building production software, including several years delivering LLM-powered or agentic systems.
Hands-on experience with LangGraph or LangChain, or equivalent judgment to build custom agent runtimes.
Experience making architecture decisions involving agent tool boundaries, context/state design, cost and latency tradeoffs, and bounded versus autonomous agents.
Experience working across Python, Java/Spring Boot, and React frontend integrations.
Ability and willingness to develop fluency in the ServiceNow platform.
Experience or willingness to perform customer-embedded forward deployed engineering.
Preferred Qualifications: Classical machine learning experience with PyTorch or scikit-learn.
Agent-to-agent interoperability protocol experience.
RAG or knowledge-graph experience, including embeddings and vector or graph retrieval.
Multi-tenant SaaS experience with tenant-isolated stateful resources.
CPQ, quoting, transaction, or pricing domain experience.
Prior forward deployed engineering or customer-embedded solution delivery experience.
