Infineon is hiring a Senior Staff Application Engineer focused on DC/DC firmware development for high-voltage and mid-voltage intermediate DC/DC bus converters used in AI computing, datacenter, server, and telecom applications. The role defines firmware requirements, develops and validates embedded firmware, creates example and customized code, supports customers and internal teams, troubleshoots issues, and maintains technical documentation. The position requires a BSEE or MSEE, at least five years of firmware development experience, C/C++ proficiency, knowledge of digital control and power electronics, microcontroller and real-time operating system experience, familiarity with embedded debugging and communication protocols, and experience with version control.
