Description

The Hartford is seeking a Senior Staff Attorney to litigate cases focusing on premises liability, products liability, construction site accidents, and commercial/personal automobile accidents. This remote position requires significant trial and litigation experience, strong legal research and writing skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception to trial. The attorney will report to the Staff Legal Managing Attorney or Assistant Managing Attorney.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of legal experience.
Documented first chair jury trial/appellate expertise.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of California courts, particularly those in Northern California.
Member in good standing of applicable Bar Association.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize duties and time.
Strong communication, computer and technological skills and the ability to quickly leverage new software and technologies as required.
Demonstrated expertise and familiarity in the handling of claim cases and litigation.
