Description
Gridsight is hiring a Senior Power Flow Software Engineer to design, implement, and run AC and DC power flow simulations for utility grid operations. The role develops power flow engines, solves optimal power flow problems, performs state and network parameter estimation, and builds scalable software for real-time or near-real-time grid forecasting and resource management. Candidates need deep power-flow expertise, experience with state or parameter estimation, data science and numerical programming foundations, and at least five years of relevant experience. The position is fully remote, hybrid, or in office, with Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Hobart workspaces.
