Description
Capella is hiring a Senior Staff Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to own full-cycle PCBA design for complex spaceflight hardware, from requirements and schematic capture through layout, bring-up, testing, manufacturing handoff, and in-orbit debug. The role leads cross-functional hardware integration, design reviews, requirements, manufacturing scaling, vendor coordination, failure analysis, and mentorship, with work based in Louisville, Colorado or San Francisco, California, with a few days per week remote. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of PCBA design and debugging experience, Altium Designer proficiency, and relevant hardware testing and manufacturing experience; compensation is $167,808–$219,704 annually.
