Description
The ICC-ES Senior Staff Engineer evaluates test reports, calculations, and technical data; develops acceptance criteria for innovative building products, materials, and methods; prepares code-compliance correspondence and evaluation reports; and provides expert assistance to building departments and participates in technical committee hearings. The role requires a civil engineering degree, engineering licensure or California structural-engineering licensure, seismic and structural-design or product-testing expertise, and at least five years of relevant experience. The position offers a starting salary of $120,000–$145,000 and health, dental, and vision insurance.
