Description
Qualcomm China is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead standards, ecosystem, and industry engagement activities for AI infrastructure and data center interconnect technologies. The role covers scale-up, scale-out, scale-across, and die-to-die connectivity, including SerDes, Ethernet/RDMA, PCIe/CXL, UCIe, copper and optical interconnects, advanced packaging, and chiplet technologies. Responsibilities include representing Qualcomm in standards organizations and industry forums, developing technical standards and interoperability activities, analyzing protocol trade-offs, evaluating connectivity options, and collaborating with hyperscalers, cloud providers, telecom operators, vendors, research institutes, and internal teams. The role requires a relevant engineering or computer science degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, strong interconnect and standards knowledge, and strong Mandarin and English communication skills; advanced packaging and optical integration knowledge are highly desirable.
