ServiceNow is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer (IC5) to set technical vision and architecture for AI-native and cloud-native systems, lead large-scale AI/ML platforms, evaluate emerging technologies, and influence engineering strategy across the organization. The role combines deep software architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, ServiceNow platform expertise, and responsible AI practices with mentorship, hiring, customer-facing technical leadership, and cross-functional influence. Candidates need extensive software development and AI/ML systems experience, strong Python, Java, JavaScript/GlideScript, and cloud expertise, along with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Base pay is $190,900–$334,100 plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.
