Aiven is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering to lead reliability and operational excellence for its global Aiven platform. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategy-setting across SRE and engineering teams, covering incident response, on-call design, SLIs/SLOs, metrics-driven prioritization, automation, and large-scale operational change. It requires senior SRE or infrastructure engineering experience, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure expertise, and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
