Shield AI is hiring a Senior Staff Structural Analyst to lead structural analysis and validation for next-generation UAV airframes and critical components. The role owns finite-element modeling, static, modal, fatigue, vibration, and damage-tolerance analyses; supports test correlation and flight-test validation; drives structural optimization; reviews technical documentation; and mentors analysts while partnering with design, loads, aero, propulsion, and systems teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, strong FEA and hand-calculation expertise, and significant composite and lightweight aerospace-structure experience.
