Infineon is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer, Unit Process Development SMT, to lead process development for SMT manufacturing projects. The role covers process parameter scouting, optimization, verification, freeze, technical handover, documentation, prototype evaluation, supplier collaboration, tooling and equipment qualification, and complex problem-solving using statistical methods such as DOE, SPC, APC, 8D, and FMEA. The engineer will also develop process technologies, select process solutions, and mentor engineering and project team members.
